Yoga for Teenagers
Yoga for Teens classes are back with Sarah Walt at The Yoga Project! This age-grouped class will be taught weekly in blocks, so that each class can be targeted more specifically to the children’s needs and progress can develop. Relaxing and developmental yoga for teenagers, taught in an approach that is both calming and stimulating for young bodies and minds – by a qualified school and teen yoga teacher.
Benefits of Yoga for Children
Children can benefit hugely from the practice of yoga with visible changes and improvement in:

Yoga helps to maintain a child’s natural flexibility, which can be lost through sitting at desks and computers. Yoga improves posture by strengthening back and abdominal muscles. Yoga can improve behaviour by balancing energy levels. Breathing exercises and relaxation techniques improve concentration, memory and sleep patterns, by bringing stillness to the mind. Yoga releases daily anxieties and stress and increases self-confidence in your child.

- 4:00 – 4.45pm 8-12 years
- 5:00 – 5:45pm 12-19 years
- £30 for 6 classes (classes can be booked in using our App)

Family Yoga Class
Saturday 4th June 2016, 1:30 – 2:15pm we will be starts a family yoga class:
Castletown, Sunderland – there is a small car park available at the studio
£5 per person
Kids aged 5-11 are invited to bring along an adult and/or older sibling for this fun Family class!
